Energypac Power Venture Limited (EPVL) is a subsidiary company of Energypac Power Generation Limited (EPGL). EPGL is a major player in supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of more than cumulative 1000MW gas and diesel generators in Bangladesh. The Board of Directors of EPGL are Mr. Humayun Rashid, Mr. Rabiul Alam, Mr. Enamul Haque Chowdhury, Mr. Rezwanul Kabir and Mr. Nurul Aktar– all have proven track record in operating large power engineering companies. Mr. Md. Nurul Aktar is the Managing Director of Energypac Power Venture Ltd (EPVL).

The Company has a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Rural Electrification Board (REB), Bangladesh for an 11 MW power project, at Hobiganj, Bangladesh for the sole purpose of supplying electricity to the REB for a period of 15 (fifteen) years. Apart from PPA, the company also signed Gas Supply Agreement, Land Lease Agreement and Implementation Agreement with relevant government authorities. The project is started its commercial operation in January 2009 and still operating many projects successfully. The project enjoys guarantees from the Government of Bangladesh for obligations due from the purchaser of electricity and supplier of gas.

That a Company also hold 90% stake of Energypac Power Venture Chittagong Limited (EPV Ctg.) which company is also engaged in power producing and had a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) since October 11, 2007.
