The company is established named EPV Thakurgaon Ltd. HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil) based IPP (Independent Power Producer) plant at Thakurgaon with 115MW capacities with a 15 years facility from the COD (Commercial Operation Date).
The Implementation Agreement (IA) of the project was signed on May 3, 2018 with Power Division and Power Grid Company Ltd (PGCB). And also signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the Bangladesh power development Board (BPDB) and EPV Thakurgoan Ltd.
EPV Thakurgaon Ltd. (EPVTL) is a subsidiary projects of Energypac Power Venture Limited, has signed a Joint-Venture Agreement with EMA Power Investment Ltd. UAE Based EMA Power Investment Ltd. is a joint-venture between South Korean giant Daelim Energy and the IDB Infrastructure Fund II managed by ASMA Capital. As part of Joint Venture of EPVTL, Daelim Energy will invest USD 16 million in capital through EMA Power for this joint-venture partnership of 49% stake with Energypac Power Venture Limited (EPVL) for implementing 115MW HFO Based IPP Plant at Thakurgaon. Successful implementation of the project will be a milestone for the growth of the northern part of Bangladesh.
